Press the call button to send a signal to the pager monitor, prompting them to call out for service. The monitoring pager unit rings out with a number in 7 languages or 8 different alert tones. Really an excellent call station for this price point. It operates as advertised and we have had it now for a year and a half. No glitches. I don't know what we would do without it. We have purchased three of these now for our homes.
